Eintstein was a bit glib about this in the 20C I'm not sure he would say the same if he were here in the 21C. Really? Would that be the stone, or the genius? :) I actually think he'd be saying the same, just perhaps a bit louder... Einstein I mean, not the stone. Trying to understand things, and people, is a fundamental step towards making progress in so many areas. It's the lack of it that has contributed so detrimentally to the world we now live in. I think he'd see that and speak up, and out, not give up on a truth. Understanding takes time, yes, and doesn't have to lead to agreement, but if it promotes more balanced views so there are less hotheaded fools rushing in ... it would be a start towards peace... in my opinion anyway - and NO! Foe the sake of peace, I won't be argued with! :))) edit: or maybe I will :) ... I don't know yet... |
